Fritz PraziCleanse® is a safe and effective anti-parasitic treatment to control unwanted parasites. Effective against skin and gill flukes, tapeworms, flatworms, and turbellarians. This treatment is suitable for fresh and saltwater aquariums, and will not discolor the water. It does not harm plants, other invertebrates or uninfected fish. Do not use in systems with tube worms or feather dusters. Can be used full strength with scaleless fish.Â
Active ingredient: Praziquantel
For best results, we recommend removing chemical filtration from your aquarium filter before dosing the medication. Examples of chemical filtration include activated carbon, carbon-infused media pads, Seachem Purigen, phosphate media pads, and ammonia media pads. It is also recommend using PraziCleanse in a quarantine tank with added aeration. Manufacturer states that this product is safe to use with other Fritz medications.Â
Manufacturer's Directions on the Package:
Repeat treatment after 5 days.Â
— Day One: Add contents of one packet per 20 gallons of of water
— Day Two through Day Four: No treatment needed
— Day Five: Perform a 25% water change
— Day Six: Repeat this five-day treatment
